Based on the New York State Income Tax website, I thought that I must file an Amended NYS Return electronically since I filed my original return electronically. Also, the IRS website indicates that commercial tax preparation software will allow you to electronically file Amended Federal returns.
I guess I will have to file my Amended returns via paper. This would be the first time in over 10 years that I submitted a paper return.
