If you haven't filed your tax return yet, you can still make changes, but I strongly caution you to do so. All of the questions that @rjs asked you are very important.
- Print out a hard copy of your W-2
- Bring up your W-2 in TurboTax
- Federal
- Wages & Income
- Select Wages and Salaries, or Revisit
- Select add a W-2 for the appropriate person if married.
- Post the tax ID number for the employer
- If you want to import the W-2, enter the value from box 1 of the W-2
- Follow instructions for the import
- If not, select [Change how I enter my form]
- [Type it Myself]
- Enter the W-2 information.
- Compare the hard copy to what is posted.
- If they are the same, do not change it.
- Contact your employer if you feel it is incorrect.
