The IRS has not yet started accepting 2022 tax returns. They have not even announced a date when e-filing for 2022 will start. TurboTax lets you "e-file" before IRS e-filing actually starts, but your tax return has not really been filed. You sent it to TurboTax, and TurboTax will hold it until the IRS starts accepting tax returns. It will remain "pending" until then.
