I have just received a deposit on my 2021 amended return however I was informed the 2021 return would be mailed. I got a letter but the amount is differen frommydeposit

The letter I received said I would receive a check within 2-3 weeks if I have not already received it. The amount in the letter is not the same as my deposit. I am very confused where the money came from.
