I ask because I filed a paper copy. But gotten no response from the IRS. The IRS website, Where My Return shows the return was Received 2/15/2022, Adjusted 9/23/2022, and Complete 10/14/2022. I'm due a refund. But to date I have not received any paper (or electronic) notification nor a refund check.
When I call the number and extension on the IRS web site, I've been disconnected 4 times, put on hold for 45 minutes and then disconnected. When I reached someone they could not complete helping me because they could not find my return and had to log off due to their shift being done and computer system shutting down.
Any suggestions on how to get the IRS to respond?
I considered refiling electronically but that does not seem to be an option with TurboTax.
