Question, Similar thing happened to me. I called the IRS when my refund got rejected by cash app. the irs told me that my refund was sent to GREEN DOT and that it was deposit there. She made me call them. So when you file with turbo tax, which I did. The IRS send it to their payment department so that they get their fees beforehand. Then they send the remaining to the account they have on file.
Turbos tax payment department can not do anything as far as change address and bank information. I was told they were going to mail a check to the address on file? Can they do that? So my thing and question is, I do not live at that address anymore. I’m on the phone, oh hold with the IRS. Can they change my address or account information over the phone? Could they have turbo tax to send it to me? Is there any way I could have something done? Mother of two whose in school and kinda really need it. Thanks.
