Hell For reasons I do not wish to get into I was not able to file my 2021 taxes until the 13 of October 2022 after a day or they were accepted 11 days later they were approved for direct deposit but they were being offset for a debt. When I called BFS I was transfers to Treasury who gave me a number I called the number of whom I owed debt to and find out it's District of Columbia federal Treasury office unfortunately it is a weekend and I have to wait till Monday to find anything out. But here is my question I have never lived anywhere other than Oklahoma why would my Federal return be held for offset to District of Columbia ? If I owed a Tax debt would it be there ? Any answers would be appreciated?
