After you file

How long does this type of basic adjustment to the algorithm take?  It's now almost November and the correction still hasn't been made but has been a known issue for a few years now.  I'm a desktop user, so don't pay extra for support thank goodness.  This is the first year I've needed to file an amended return and it's been a major irritation.  While the IRS instructions don't specifically say you have to file electronically, per my last conversation with them, this is what is EXPECTED.

 

There are also issues this year with the program skipping required entries during the process, but catching them on the review.  

 

Last suggestion, when an 1120S customer calls in, it would be great to be routed to someone familiar with THAT program level. TurboTax support staff are truly great, but if they don't have the knowledge required everyone gets frustrated.  If the call is routed to an "expert", they also need to be well-versed in the 1120S, not just personal tax returns.
