Covid is a poor excuse when it comes to the IRS, because if they want to take from us, they'd find workers to load up a van asap and rob us blind. I'm reading here my 2021 amended form was accepted March 10, 2022. It's October 13th. Hello? There is no way to find out from IRS. The phone number is useless. It only tells me what already know. It was accepted, so where is my money? The link on their site directs you to a private government page. So, how do I or we know when I'll/we'll get it? I don't remember adding my routing and account numbers on the amended return. What's up with them? Is it being mailed? Is it being direct deposited? At least tell us! It's 7 months. No info. Come on. Pathetic. I am tempted to file it again. Did the check get lost in the mail? IRS is a joke.
