IRS really isn't going to have a copy of your amended return, even after they finally process it. All they do with it is make account adjustments and issue a refund. The only thing they will ever be able to give you to show anything related to the amended return is your account transcript. That will show the new adjusted gross income, filing status, exemption count, and transaction dates for the filing of the original and amended returns and payments/refunds. If your school wants to see the actual return or details of the revised return, you'll have to give them your own copy of the amended return.
