There must be more to the story. But be aware this is a public user forum, so don't post any personal info in this forum. When you explain more, someone may be able to make some suggestions on what all you need to do.
Is this a 2021 return? If so, how do you know someone filed a 2021 return using your personal info?
And how do you also know that it was "approved" by the IRS? By the word "approved" are you saying the IRS approved and has paid the Federal refund to someone? Or do you mean an efiled return was "accepted" for processing?
And what is the actual situation with you and your own 2021 return--did you already file (or tried to file) a return in your name as well? Or are you getting ready to file one?
Was the improper 2021 return in question prepared and efiled through your Online TurboTax account? i.e., has your online account been compromised?
