Arkansas is charging me a late filing penalty of $40 (tax year 2020) because I forgot to check the box on Form AR1000NR indicating I filed for a federal extension. I called and was told I just need to provide proof that I filed in 2020 for the automatic extension. I mailed in my request. How do I obtain proof today that I filed the automatic extension back in early 2020?
