since the difference is about $2800, it's likely the Recovery Credit.
You were eligible for EITHER the 3rd stimulus or the Recovery Credit but not both.
Look at line 30, the calculation is simply the number of people listed on your tax return Times $1400 LESS what you received last year, but not less than zero.
Look at your bank account from last March - May, 2021 and look for the stimulus direct deposit..... is that what you entered into turbo tax during the interview process? I suspect what you find in your bank statements is not what you entered.....and THAT creates the problem.
if you are filing joint and received Letter 6475...note there were TWO letters - one for each spouse and the letters needed to be ADDED TOGETHER to get to the right entry in turno tax.
