I agree! that 3rd charge was for the New Jersey SOFTWARE as you note you had to file in both NY and NJ. One state was paid for with the upgrade from Basic to Deluxe, but the 2nd state was a separate charge. Each State is $45 plus tax
That still begs the question how the e-file charges were paid for (if there were any). There was no efile charge for Federal or New York.
How did you file New Jersey? Efile or paper? if efile, you had to pay for it somehow. did you inadvertantly have it taken out of your federal refund?
