After you file
Your tax bracket is based on your income and filing status. You may reference your filed forms. The IRS looks at yourTaxable Income, listed on Line 43 of the 1040, line 27 of the 1040A, or Line 6 of the 1040EZ.
If you have not already filed, you may reference these lines on your return:
- Under Tax Timeline, click on Continue your return
- Go to "My Account" > "Tools"
- Under the Tools Center, select "view tax summary"
- Select "Preview my 1040"
If you have already filed: to print/view your 2015 tax return, sign in to your TurboTax account, click Taxes, then My Tax Timeline. Scroll down to "SOME THINGS YOU CAN DO" and click Download/print return (PDF).
- Click here to read a TurboTax article explaining more about tax brackets.
Then, you may reference IRS tax tables here: http://www.bankrate.com/finance/taxes/tax-brackets.aspx
