I , also, tried to filed an amended tax return because of the stimulus issue, and Turbo Tax at the top of the program said I owed $1400, but there is no way I owe $1400, or anyone else for that manner. Look at the actual tax return to see what you actually owe. It did seem to calculate the correct taxes owed the IRS or the filer, but for some reason the the top figures are wrong and the cover sheet for the taxes are wrong. I actually transferred money to cover the $1400, but I am hoping they look at the return and take only what it says.
