I agree with you . I have received a check from Santa Barbra Tax Product Group 3/28/22. The check wouldn’t cash . At the cash checking the agent asked if I verified a check 3 hours ago . I replied no , I just literally received it from mailman. I called the phone number on check to speak with representative but no answer. The next day I called & there was a different check date affiliated with the check . I ran to try to cash it they said it was already verified & they would have to print another check . How a IRS REFUND CHECK has so many issues . I have see TPG has had this refund since March 2 . IRS has release it the company has been keeping it for 2 months . 3/29/22 I sent indemnity bond to receive a “new” check . I sent my information : Id , Social security card , and voided check. No update . 4/13/22 they ask me to write on the form 3/07/22 BUT the checks real date 3/18/22 . I spoke to agent Intuit & TPG they told me It hasn’t been processed at All. They wanted me to Edit the form . I put the check amount ( same amount IRS finds your account / without fees) BUT THEY WANT YOU TO PUT THE AMOUNT WITH THEIR FEE left OUT . I feel this company is being callous and not transparent. The practices are deceptive. If a check has a date on it / that is it’s date . My check date was 3/18/22 . They had their fees taken out since they first got the check & I believe they are being deceptive . I am going through financial hardship . I want my full refund
