What I have to argue with the IRS about is the amount it calculates for my tax. I mentioned in the original question that it is a $50000. swing! I see no way that kind of error could affect m tax as much!
I think the process is for me to receive a letter, which was apparently dated April 18th and which still has not arrived. The letter will provide me with a phone contact.
