If you made sure that the name and EIN match what’s on your W-2G and you’re still being rejected, it could be because:
1. The EIN printed on your form is incorrect. Please contact the W2G Payer and ask for a corrected form.
2. The data at the IRS is wrong. In this case, you'll have to print and mail a paper return.
