After you file

@fanfare I am seeing that there are 2 lines on my amended state tax return form (one for the current overpayment and one for the overpayment calculated in the original tax return).  When doing an amended state tax return, it is putting the current amount of overpayment correctly.  However, when putting the amount of overpayment from my original state return, it is using incorrectly the amount of overpayment minus the voluntary contribution to charity.  Because of this, TurboTax is showing that the difference in tax refund expected from my amended return and original return is the amount I contributed to charity (indicating the state owes me the difference).  However, this is wrong considering I am not changing the amount from my state tax refund that I am donating to charity.  TurboTax should put the amount of overpayment (ignoring what was deducted as a donation) and indicate a 0$ difference owed to me between my original and amended state return (provided nothing of significance changed).

Hopefully that made sense to you.
