This has been frustrating, but as another community member wrote, just go through the process and choose either payment method. If you did not select Audit Defense, Turbotax will just charge you the fee for filing the state taxes. There will be a confirmation screen when you select the credit card option.
To Turbotax: please fix this, because it has wasted a lot of our time! Users are given the impression they are paying for Audit Defense when they don't want it.
