Update: Happy to say I finally received my refund from TPG on 03/31/2022; 30 days after TPG received the funds from the IRS. There was no letter in with the check explaining what the hold up was, explaining why they took additional money out of my refund or apologizing for the inconvenience that this cause so many people so for that, I will not recommend them to anyone nor will I ever use their services again. The lack of communication from this company is utterly ridiculous. If there is a something internal going on with a company's system that is holding them up from fulfilling their duties/promises to their customers, they should immediately convey that to their customers. The customers shouldn't have to call multiple times, wait on hold for hours each time they call only to be given misinformation or a complete run around and no clear understanding when they can expect their funds. #happybutnothappy
