Filed federal & state with the basic service, the receipt says the fees total $78 but my return appears to be $169 short--so where is the remaining $91? I have been clicking around on the site a while and cannot find a breakdown of fees or any explanation of the charges, or why I was charged $169 instead of the $78 that was mentioned while I was preparing to file using turboTax online. Anyone have an insight to this or any help?
I tried using the chat bot support, and that did not help at all. Finally it gave me the option to get a call. Someone did call me, introduced themselves, but then I heard a baby crying and she hung up on me. Then I got an email saying me issue was 'resolved' (which it is not). I tried this process again and received a robo-call which directed me to the support page and hung up on me again.
I just want to know why I was charged more than expected or if it's an error. I did pull up my state & federal returns and they matched the amount I entered on my returns.
