Wow, I'm surprised you received any response from SBTPG! I guess that's promising.
I emailed their customer support line on 3/22 and 3/28 requesting more assistance tracking down my refund. No response.
I did reach a representative on the phone Monday, 3/28. She told me my check was mailed 3/9 and to wait 7-10 business days. It was already longer than that when I called. I asked what I do now when it has been longer than 7-10 days and I haven't received my check. She said please wait and call back. For real. I told her I would wait through this week. (The only other time I actually spoke to someone was 3/4, and she told me my check was mailed 3/2. Can't make this sh*t up.)
I filed a complaint with the BBB 3/23. Yesterday the BBB let me know there is no response so far, but they will try again.
If my check isn't here Monday, I'm calling until I get through to a supervisor at SBTPG. I want absolute confirmation as to when I will receive my check. Even if that means printing a new one with tracking information, or whatever. And I want to try to have Turbo Tax refund my fees.
I've had enough. I've waited long enough. I've received no help.
