The IRS has experienced the same issues as everyone due to the Coronavirus. They are facing a lengthy backlog of returns that have not been computerized from mailed returns. They are in the process of getting current and recently announced they are making plans to catch up.
'The Treasury Department and IRS announced last week a plan to catch up on the pandemic-related backlog this year. The effort includes the hiring of 10,000 IRS employees over the next year, including 5,000 in the next few months.'
They may officially post information as they move forward. At this time it's not possible to give a time frame for you.
