First off, I want to say I am sorry that so many are having to go through this. I am currently in the same position as many others, and share the valid displeasure of getting less than my VERIFIED refund amount told to me by the IRS. This is the job of both parties, MONEY. The handling of monies in a correct, legitimate, honest and correct down to the penny amount(s). My Credit Karma account is $716.25 short of my final verified amount from the IRS. My return was amended by $1400 and the IRS website showed me in black and white what my return IS and what I should expect to get paid in a check/deposit. It is not that amount looking at the credit karma app, and I am also short the $50 incentive but after reading a previous comment and reply I know when to expect that. Why is my amount ridiculously lower than it should be? When is the rest of it going to be given to me? I already had to wait an extended amount of time for the IRS when they put a hold on my refund, and now that it's been released I am having to wait longer for the rest of it. TurboTax is a tax app, it deals in money, as a company they decided to work with Credit Karma again and this giant screw up is making people I'm sure rethink their use of either app in the future.. Credit Karma is a credit app, a spend and keep track of your money right, monitor your score and well help you along the way kind of app. By shorting folks of their money and giving ridiculous and nonsensical links instead of listening and giving/ informative/factual reasoning to why their deposits were short, or providing a timeline/solution, you are creating an environment and a platform that rapidly over time is not trusted in future dealings because it cannot be trusted to do and pay what's right.
