thanks so much for the quick response! Yes I tried calling and of course can’t get a person. I don’t have the money to pay them and was going to pay the amended amount I owe once I got my return. It’s been 8 weeks- no return! I filed the amendment almost 4 weeks ago and they said it could take 16 weeks to process. Can I file an extension on what I owe? This is beyond frustrating it makes me wonder what we even pay taxes for 😡
