I e-filed through TurboTax and both State and Federal say 'Accepted' and have for months. State got put onto my TurboTax Card 5 months after I filed, Federal never came. I just called the number you gave, followed the options you told me to, and moments after I finished with the final option, an automated message came on saying that call volume is too high and to try again tomorrow. The same message I've heard five days a week for ten months. I know that it's not TurboTax's fsult, but this is beyond ridiculous. Every way that I'm told to contact them fails. My last option is to write a letter and wait six plus weeks for a response. I'd understand having a small wait, but there is absolutely no reason why someone should have to spend 10 months trying to get a hold of the IRS. I mean, if I owed them money, it's not like they'd consider a 10 month wait for a payment from me as being acceptable. I am seriously at the end of my rope with this. If May comes around and I have yet to be able to contact them or they don't contact me (I'll write and send the letter), I will be discussing what actions I can take with a lawyer.
