Thank you again for your timely reply.
I am using a download of Turbo Tax Basic, as I have for many years. I have also used Turbo Tax Online on a number of occasions, especially over the last few days while trying to resolve this matter.
I watched the video you provided a link for. I did not pay close enough attention to the e-mail I received alerting me to the rejection (i.e., I only saw "REJECTED!"). The error message is IND-032-34. There is no link on the error message, like there is on the video, that takes me to Turbo Tax Online.
Curiously, the Turbo Tax Online home screen on the video appears to have more options available on the lefthand side than my home screen does. My home screen only offers "File an Extension," "Intuit Account," and "Sign Out." There is no "Fix My Return" option. See screen shot below.
The only Fix My Return option available is in the software itself. When I click on that button, it only offers one box in which to enter the AGI of my spouse. There is no block for my AGI. This, indeed, is part of the issue I am having. A screen shot is provided below (names edited out).
I do not want to file hard copy if I can avoid doing so. Your advice on how I might proceed is much appreciated. I fear I am missing something easy and obvious.
