I have made an attempt with a test 1120-S in TurboTax Business and it failed.
With the Amended box checked, I get the same message as did you and the program did not provide me with the opportunity to attach the transmittal form (8453-S).
Therefore, at this point I have to conclude e-filing an amended return with the product is not supported, regardless.
