After you file

No. They are absolutely correct. Clearly you’re not understanding what they’re trying to say. I have filed with TurboTax every year and understand that the federal and state do not ever come together BUT if you yourself walked through the TurboTax prompts while filing your taxes you would see exactly what they mean. It does indeed state that you can “file your federal and state to TOGETHER for a processing fee”… making it seem that you are in fact paying so that you will get them  together. Again, I understand this is never the case but usually I file a free form… this year though I had to pay the processing fee due to a retirement contribution credit (so thankfully I had to pay regardless) but after seeing the prompt saying that with paying this fee you can get them simultaneously I was curious and hence googled if this is true which is how I came across this thread/forum. Therefore, as they said this is extremely misleading and shady on TurboTax’s part and for people that did not have to pay a processing fee for any other reason then believing they would get them together is extremely misleading and disappointing.
