@Kristinamarie26 This has been one heck of a year.  There are several credits that the IRS has been adjusting off, as some users have been confused as to what they have and have not received.  Additionally, there are other reasons why the IRS may have adjusted your refund.

 

TurboTax does not "Accept" your return.  The IRS does.  And an accepted return simply means that the IRS has briefly taken a look at that things are "in order".  It's later that the IRS truly goes over your return to see if it's correct.  Once you've filed your return and it is accepted by the IRS, it doesn't come back to TurboTax.
