If your return was rejected and you do NOT correct it and re-file, no payment will come out of your refund. Choosing to pay out of your refund means that you will pay with your refund once your return is accepted and processed. You can not be charged more than once paying our of your refund even if your return rejects multiple times before it is accepted- your payment will only get processed once.
