You’ll need to send in your amended Missouri tax return.
While Missouri will accept e-filed amended returns, you’ll need to mail the paper amended return that you prepare with TurboTax. See the TurboTax Help article Can I e-file my amended state return? for details.
Missouri does not have a dedicated amended return form. You’ll need to use Form MO-1040 for the amended return. Make sure that the Amended Return box is checked on your 2021 Individual Income Tax Return when you send it in.
