I opened the 2019 return in the 2019 program and it came up exactly as filed. When I clicked on the amend button the State tax refund reset to -0- (as it should have), but the federal return went from a tax due of 16 to a tax due of 296 without any input from me. When I scroll over the federal tax button the amounts are correct, but the 1040x form amounts show incorrect from the original filing(showing a refund instead of tax due)
How do I file the the 2019 amended return?
