I might as well keep every one up to date on my saga. 

 

Brief summary of my saga - 

says refund was sent Feb 2nd - I talked to bank they told me they sent it back on Feb 2nd. 

Reached out to SBTPG on Feb 17th - they responded on Feb 22nd saying they set up a trace. 

On March 1 I called and was told no one set up a trace and they just did and it will be 48 hours. 

 

Now that we are all caught up 

 

I called today - 48 hours after my trace was setup - waiting 1 hour and 38 minutes for someone to pick up. 

This person told me it now takes 72 hours. I asked for them to look - they came back with oh 3-5 business days. 

 

I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told "Due to a high number of calls we can only set up a request for a supervisor to call back" - I asked her if calls seem high and she said yes and there are a lot of irate customers. 

 

So now im waiting for a potential call back (not holding my breath - and I will call back tomorrow - then again probably Monday - probably again on Tuesday. Hopefully one day I will get an answer. 

 

You know what would be awesome - If a turbo tax representative would be able to help us out in any way other than directing us to talk to SBTPG or the IRS. You are supposed to be our advocate based on the fees we pay. 

 

I can only imagine what would happen during an audit. Probably nothing good. 

 

In other news -I am also waiting for turbotax to get back to me through their Facebook page. I will be updating my story here and in the facebook page until I get some answers.
