THANK YOU so much for taking the time. You really covered all bases and I'm extremely grateful.
I have tried calling the IRS about 50 times without any success. Every time I follow the prompts to speak to a human being, I get a recorded message saying reps are too busy to take my call and try calling back later.
And of course I have visited Where's My Refund about 1000x. It used to say "processing," or some similar word. Now it says "no information available."
So I've exhausted all IRS methods.
But now I'll try some of the other links and organizations you represent.
I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I will never get this refund, which is a bitter pill.
