I made the same mistake.

I filed stating that I didn’t receive the stimulus.(when I in-fact had) The IRS accepted that return of $2250. But when it took longer than usual for my return I looked closer at my bank account and noticed the error. So of course I amended my return. The result was that is the IRS charged me $1400 without having sent the original return of $2250.

 

Hopefully the IRS gets around to refunding me now that they caused me to get an overdraft fee.
