Actually tpg does hold funds. The irs sent my money to tpg on the feb 16th. once the irs websites confirms that the money is sent they are unable to assist. I called turbotax so many times with no assistance as to what was going on with my refund when i checked the tpg website it said they did not receive my refund. When i called tpg the automated system confirmed that the irs accepted my funds and once they were received they will send and this is 4 days after the irs sent my funds. After a two hour wait i was able to get in touch with a tpg rep who said that my funds could be held due to two reasons wrong address or bank account information. We confirmed both and she had me wait another 30 mins to tell me that they had my money but was not sure why it was being held because my information was correct and to call back in 24-48 hrs for an update. So its not your bank and its not irs once it says sent on their site. It is TPG who turbo uses as a 3rd party to collect their funds. After 6 years as a turbo customer i will never use them again.
