After you file

did you have to have any filing feels taken out of your refund? I opted for that but I now I keep running into any people having weeks of delays due to TPG hold onto their refund because they had filing fees, and many of these people have been doing it this way for years with turbo tax like me. I am a little concerned.

Was it the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool that gave you the date of 2/24?

https://www.irs.gov/refunds

The IRS says to allow up to 5 days due to variations in bank processing procedures, etc.   Plus it's still very early on the 24th (in fact, in some parts of the country it's still February 23.)   Many banks don't process electronic deposits until much later in the night.

If the IRS has released your refund, have you checked on the status of your funds at SBTPG, the company who handles the refund when you choose to pay fees out of your Federal refund?

If the IRS has sent your refund, the funds go first to an intermediary bank where the fees are subtracted.  Then that intermediary bank sends the rest to your bank account (or card) in a second direct deposit.   The company that administers that is SBTPG (Santa Barbara Tax Products Group.)

If you used that payment option, you can log in to your temporary account at SBTPG to see the status of your funds.

To log in, choose the taxpayer portal at:
https://www.sbtpg.com/

SBTPG has a phone contact page at the following link. It also shows their business hours.  Even when they are closed, you may be able to get automated info, or you can log in as above.
