I’m going to tell him to check & I have the code 971 says notice issue 4/1/2021 but no other codes , my gf got her state back on the 18th but still waiting on her federal, and her 2021 transcript says notice issue 4/1/2021 so I think we should be good I don’t see no errors or anything just got told to wait till they verify I filed last year but didn’t get a letter , my money hit on march 1 last year but last year I went through Someone I knew….. this year I did TurboTax so I think the letter just a verification letter probably because my first time filing with a real tax place I’m assuming.
