Form 1065X to amend a partnership tax return is available, however, you cannot e-file the return. You can use TurboTax Business to amend your return, then you will print and mail it in. This will result in you having the corrected K-1 so you can file your personal returns.
To amend your 1065 please follow these steps:
- Open your file in TurboTax Business
- Under the Business Info tab choose the About Your Business sub-tab
- Click Continue until you get to the Do you need to file an amended return page
- Select Yes I need to file an amended return
- Select the 2021 return
- Enter the items that need to be corrected and the reason statement
- TurboTax then walks you through printing and mailing your amended return in
