By "IRS website", I'll assume you are referring to the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool and that it found your information.
As to how long it takes to process the return and send a refund, it can vary. The IRS says 9 out of 10 filers who efile and choose direct deposit will get their Federal refunds within 21 days after being accepted. Some returns are processed fairly quickly, while others require additional processing due to specific items in the return. Some are pulled at random for more thorough investigation.

NOTE: If you are subject to the PATH Act , i.e., if you qualify for EITC (Earned Income Credit) or ACTC (Additional Child Tax Credit), then by law the IRS cannot release a refund for returns with those credits until after February 15. The IRS website says some folks subject to the PATH Act may not see a Federal refund until the first week of March while those who chose direct deposit may receive theirs in late February.
