Ok so yea thats wat i did im the custodial parent but we agreed she was gonna claim them for the ctc and me for the eic but when she filed hers it was rejected mine had been accepted already so i removed them from her return completely refiled and it was accepted..,so wat im asking is can i amend my return and get the ctc since i removed them completely from her return and no one is claiming them for that credit ?
