After you file
The first step would be to use the IRS refund tool to make sure the return has been received and is being processed. Here is a link: IRS refund tool
Your next step would be to call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040 to get a status report on it. If that is not helpful, you could make an appointment with your local IRS office where you can talk with a live person and have someone to follow up with.
If you find the return has not been filed or was rejected, you can log into your TurboTax account and use the help menu option to contact an agent at TurboTax who can look up the history on the e-file and provide support on how to get the return filed.

Unfortunately, there is no procedure that the IRS makes available to TurboTax that would allow us to contact the IRS on your behalf to trouble shoot the processing of your tax return. We are only authorized to help you prepare the return and get it filed, after that you need to deal directly with the IRS.
