I don't understand what you mean by some of that, such as "both sides." How did you choose to receive your Federal refund--did you choose to get a paper check in the mail at your new address? Is the new address that one that is displayed on your return when you view/print it?
Secondly, how do you know a Federal refund was supposed to arrive today? If it's coming by paper check in the mail, the exact date cannot be predicted that closely.
What do you learn when you use this tool at the IRS website? Does it say your Federal refund has been sent?
