I am ammending my 2020 NY Tax Return. I am making an adjustment for NY only (not for federal).
- Will a 1040X be sent with my NY ammendment e-file? I ask as TurboTax keeps asking me to put in a reason for changes for my 1040X. There are no changes to my federal return so not sure what/if I should be putting there. In the filing process, I click "not to e-file" for Federal as I will not be sending them anything but this has me confused for the NY ammendment.
Appreciate any guidance.
