I got the letter at the end of March. They have multiple reasons why they could have taken off the recovery rebate but after calling the IRS they told me it was because I was a dependent in 2019 so I wasn’t able to get the first 2 payments since in 2020 they were basing payments off of 2019 taxes. After being told this, I fixed this by Sending in documentation that I was not a dependent and that I accidentally put i was a dependent in 2019. My 2020 tax return doesn’t have me as a dependent.
