After you file
It's now been 42 days and the payment has still not been debited from my account and I have now received an IRS notice with penalties showing that they have not received the payment. I have no proof of payment from either the IRS or Turbotax since Turbotax only sent confirmation that the extension I filed with them online was accepted. They make no mention of the payment and I did not get any confirmation number. I entered all the banking info and scheduled the payment for three days later when I filed the extension online. Now no one - the IRS, Turbotax or myself - has a record of anything. Am I just screwed here? So frustrating. Thanks for the headache and lack of support Turbotax.
