IRS has not debited my account for payment made with extension
I filed an extension online with Turbotax on 5/14/21 and entered my info for the IRS to debit my account. It has now been 2 weeks and they still have not debited my account. I received an email saying the extension was approved and have a copy of it but can't find anything that is proof I submitted the info for payment. I efiled my return today with the balance due but I'm concerned about the first payment not going through since it's the bulk of what I owed. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there anything else I should do at this point other than wait a bit longer?
